Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital proudly observed International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025 celebrating the strength, resilience, and accomplishments of women from all walks of life. Since its inception in 1911, International Women’s Day has belonged to everyone who advocates for gender equality, honors women's achievements, raises awareness against discrimination, and takes action to promote gender parity.
To mark this occasion, the Department of Public Health Dentistry at Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital organized a Free Dental Check-up Camp at Shanti Kutir Mahila Punarwas Kendra, a homeless women’s shelter in Patna, Bihar. The camp saw enthusiastic participation from postgraduate students and interns, who played an active role in providing essential dental care services.
As part of this initiative, oral hygiene kits and menstrual hygiene products were distributed to those in need. Additionally, a free oral health screening was conducted to raise awareness and encourage better health and hygiene practices among the attendees.
